Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours. Bronze Medal Winner at The International Brewing Awards 2013, Silver Medal winner at the 2014 International Beer Challenge and Gold Medal Winner at The Indie Beer Can Awards 2014 (Contains barley & rye). Available (pasteurised) in 500ml bottles and 440ml cans.

Bottle. Pale amber with a residual head. Aroma is a little hoppy. Taste is hops and citrus, the hops produce a bitter finish at the end. Average body for a bitter. This is a well balanced golden ale. Even though Adnams produce good beers I wasn’t expecting this to be as good as it was.

500ml Bottle: Pours a dull copper with frothy off-white head. Lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine with a slight note of rubber. Flavours of citrus and some caramel as well as a little resinous note. Medium bitterness, medium to light bodied, medium carbonation. Overall the beer is refreshing and easy to drink. Bitterness is not overwhelming. Crisp and clean.

Clear orange - reddish beer, standard carbonation small relatively stable white head. At nose it has several floral notes from the hops, and some carame ones. At palate has a medium body, but maybe the rye malt and the the hops are overcoming the other characteristics which is not expected in a pale ale.

Not too bad, a little watery and not much hop or citrus flavour. But great value at 1.12 a can

Smells really good... if you like citrus. Great crispt taste with the malt coming through nice

1. 8. 2017, Ljubljana. Canned. Medium interesting aroma, looks OK. Medium carbonation, light to medium bodied. Taste is a bit sweet at start but quicly bittered out. Aftertaste is not that pleasant making it lower on my wishlist. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear copper color with a nice white head with orange ting. Aroma grainy, spicy, notes of caramel, spruce. Taste bready, toasty, bitter and spicy. Nice English pale

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit flavor with light malt. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and light malt linger.

Bosskie (919) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 6, 2017
Orange-brown beer, luminous, weak white head, nice bubbliness, beautiful! Smell is kiwi mango citrus - typical citra - resin, hint of caramel, very nice. Taste is bitter watery, crisp and fresh with a sticky astringent finish.
