Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours. Bronze Medal Winner at The International Brewing Awards 2013, Silver Medal winner at the 2014 International Beer Challenge and Gold Medal Winner at The Indie Beer Can Awards 2014 (Contains barley & rye). Available (pasteurised) in 500ml bottles and 440ml cans.

Can - pours clear pale orange with a big white head. Clementine, elderflower, soap and ever so slightly skunky. Taste is very thin up front with some sweetness progressing into a dry finish. Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side too.

Bought as a pack of 4 to try wish I only had one of them did not like the taste but 4 for £5 suppose it will make do ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle and Tap - great smelling beer, quite hoppy compared to other classic Adnams. It has quite a lot of depth - I would say it lies between an IPA and a hoppy Pale Ale.

A: Clear amber with a medium-large off-white head N: Amber malt, caramel T: Nice upfront bitterness with a good contribution from the darker malts P: Thin O: Well-made pale ale

Clear light amber colour. Moderate creamy head. Well-lacing. Aroma: lots of biscuit malts, honey, background hops. Medium body. Soft carbo. Medium dry taste. Moderately malty (biscuit) and fairly hoppy. Medium floral / grassy bitterness. Long hoppy finish. Good is good.

That's some fine Ale with a distinctive hoppy flavor. Aroma is clearly good and flavor I'd also domnated by hops around some fruity notes. Palate us not bitter at all, which make it easy to drink, yet flavorful. Thumps up!

500ml Bottle: Pours a dull copper with frothy off-white head. Lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine with a slight note of rubber. Flavours of citrus and some caramel as well as a little resinous note. Medium bitterness, medium to light bodied, medium carbonation. Overall the beer is refreshing and easy to drink. Bitterness is not overwhelming. Crisp and clean.

AtronSeige (1713) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 16, 2017
Aroma: Medium-high floral, Medium berries, earthy Appearance: Brilliant, amber body. Small, off-white head. Flavour: Medium bitterness, earthy, floral, berries. Dry finish with lingering bitterness and floral. Mouthfeel: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Good bitterness! Good Hops!. 500 ml bottle, poured.

MRMedellin (326) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - SEP 16, 2017
Clear orange - reddish beer, standard carbonation small relatively stable white head. At nose it has several floral notes from the hops, and some carame ones. At palate has a medium body, but maybe the rye malt and the the hops are overcoming the other characteristics which is not expected in a pale ale.

NotABeerFan (37) - GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - SEP 2, 2017
Not too bad, a little watery and not much hop or citrus flavour. But great value at 1.12 a can
