Clear medium yellow amber - orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus - orange peel, fruity, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Castle Inn, Cambridge. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is bread, some earth, slight sulphury notes as well as some mild nutty notes. Flavour is qui9te much the same with some mild adicic and wooden notes.

GBBF Cask. Finally catching up with this one after it was the only beer I missed from Spoons winter fest 2010! Hazy gold beer, decent suddy white head. Tiny bit of sulphur. Some raw tasting malt. A little grapefruit hops. Semi dry finish. The wait wasn’t worth it!

Cask at GBBF, Day 1. Pours clear gold with a bubbly head. Pine and ripe citrus aroma. Sweet flavor with toasty malts and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light resinous finish, further earth, pine and toast. Nice stuff here.
