The hops in Innovation are the stars of the show. We used Boadicea, Columbus and Styrian Goldings to create punchy grapefruit flavours and aromas of tropical fruits. These are backed up by wheat and pale ale malted barley which add spicy, biscuit flavours and a slight touch of sweetness. The outcome is a wonderfully moreish IPA, packed full of flavour. Silver Medal Winner - The Stockholm Beer Festival 2013. (Contains barley & wheat).

Bottled. Clear amber colour, moderate white well-lacing head. Aroma: biscuit, caramel, silphur, floral & fruity hops (not much of) Medium body. Bittersweet taste. Robust malts. A bit sulphury. Decent hopping still no proper hop brightness and freshness. Overall: not impressive.

0.33 l bottle from 'AH' (Den Bosch), bottled in August 2017. Clear, amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy and slightly resiny aroma of orange jam, mango and some pine. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, fruity-grassy and slightly resiny taste of orange jam, mango, some pine and a touch of honey, followed by a medium long, dry-bitter, grassy and resiny finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very decent IPA, refreshing and well-balanced.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma has crispy malt, caramel, peach and grapefruit. Taste of bitter caramel, orange zest, some pineapple, peach and grapefruit. Not very innovative, but nice nonetheless.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A thick foam quickly dissipates revealing a cloudy amber hue. Nose is a velvety mix of malt and sweet caramel. Taste is full and rich with a malty undertone and sweet fruity notes with a biscuity texture. Quite a sweet, dry finish with a hint of hoppy bitterness lingering on.

Martinus (4737) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - OCT 11, 2017
Clear golden colour, white head. Fruity aroma, citrus, tropical fruits. Light bitter flavour, quite sweet, tropical fruits. Sweet malty finish, tropical fruits. Rather nice.
