COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The hops in Innovation are the stars of the show. We used Boadicea, Columbus and Styrian Goldings to create punchy grapefruit flavours and aromas of tropical fruits. These are backed up by wheat and pale ale malted barley which add spicy, biscuit flavours and a slight touch of sweetness. The outcome is a wonderfully moreish IPA, packed full of flavour. Silver Medal Winner - The Stockholm Beer Festival 2013. (Contains barley & wheat).

[email protected] Bar, Copenhagen. Pours orange with medium white head. Malty caramel, medium undertones of citrus in there but, a little bit messy, on the palate for me. Ok overall.

Nonshaugen (591) - Fetsund, NORWAY - JUN 17, 2015
Slightly cloudy, golden pour, not much head, minimal lacing. 6,7% ABV gives an unpleasant hint of alcohol to the aroma along with the hops and malt notes thats in there. Dont like the aroma. Well carbonated and bitter flavour, again that unpleasant taste of alcohol, along with a hint of dark fruits in the aftertaste. Huge fan of Adnams I am, but this is not their best.... Sorry....

Bottle at Victoria & Albert Museum, visiting Alexander McQueen exhibition. Moderately malty, hoppy, bitter for sure. Could do with more citrus, I reckon. A bit lacking in depth. Okay IPA.

Tasted 2015-06-08. Clear golden - almost amber - colour. No head whatsoever. Seems filtered. Nutty, hoppy aroma. Slightly bready. Only lightly carbonated. Very little bitterness for an IPA. A little on the boozy side. Overall pleasant and drinkable, but I expect more from an IPA at 6.7% ABV.

Pours really well. Fruity and upbeat aroma. Looks gorgeous. Quite a thick and treacly taste. Which is odd given the appearance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smell of straw. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of straw, cardboard, a faint of hops. Bitter. Very flat carbon. Big disappointment.
