Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a crystal clear dark chesnut brown with a frothy off-white head. The aroma is weak malty and a little woody. The flavour is medium bitter with a malty, liqourice, slightly metallic, watery palate. The bitterness lingers for a while in the finish but doesn’t inspire me.

50cl bottle courtesy of Me shared with JMGreenUK. Thick creamy white head. Clear golden amber pour. Subtle bitterness

Bottle from supermarket. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with grapefruit, toast, salted crackers, grass and a bit of pine. Bitter finish with grapefruit and toast. Good bitter.

Average tinted head. Tempting smell. A successful compromise with rather low alcohol level, but still both the depth in aroma and diversity in flavor that a good ale should have. Adnam knows its business. Cheers!

DuffMan (10429) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 23, 2013
I wanted something very light, so this is where I went. Light orange body, average light gold head. Pleasant aroma of orchard fruits with floral accents and sweet biscuit malt. Lightly buttery malts with soft floral hops, low bitterness. Satisfying.

Lagerboy (2206) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 23, 2013
500 ml bottle. Mostly clear amber orange, small lasting creamy off-white head. Fruity malty aroma. Moderate bready malt and musty earthy hop taste, some caramel and citrus. Soft carbonation, light bodied, lightly hopped. Flat light bitter finish. A slightly less boring sessionable English bitter. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Hermod (7879) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUN 18, 2013
50 cl bottle. Poured copper in color with a thick white head. Light citrusy, malty aroma. Flavor has malt, grass, biscuits. Some harshness in the light bitter finish. Light bodied, basic bitter.

liinis (1770) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 11, 2013
"developed from--" I would say its watered version from their "champion pale ale". Too light. too pale too little flavour.

viktorvee (510) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2013
Light bitter, not buckets of flavour, quite bland in fact. I’d give this a miss.
