50 cl bottle @ Scandic hotels Sauna, Tampere. Rated on 31.12.2010
Aroma is somewhat fruity with hops and some hay. Flavour has fruits, some gooseberry bush, toffee, biscuits and hints of hay. Quite nice and fruity for this ABV.

Bottle. Slight haze on this orange beer with a finger of white head. Honey, tangerine and malt nuttiness on the nose. Caramel sweetness with a little orange and grass spicy hoppiness. Easy, smooth quaffing ale. Not one to write home about. Not one to spit out.

500ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger and a half of white head that settles to leave some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild caramel and grass. Taste is a light caramel malty sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness. A pretty decent bitter style ale that is drinkable but nothing special.

Deep and light dark golden colour with an off white head. Caramel malt aroma with some fruity notes. Rich mild caramel flavour with a pleasant bitterness. Moderate sweetness. Outstanding far an 3,4% beer.

Clear copper, decent but loose white head. Aroma is subtle sweet fruit. Light body, bright carbonation. pleasant tangy fruity start, moving to dark toffee malt and then some bitterness in finish. Overall a bit watery and not particularly interesting but quite quaffable.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Light amber in colour, low head. Aroma and taste of roasted grains, cereals and bread. Typical ale, quite good, easy to drink but with too much bitterness for my taste.

ALLOVATE (2980) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - AUG 24, 2012
Tasting from August 2011.
Radiant copper body that is finely carbonated and capped off by a dollop of white cream that is lasting. Skunky, musty malt and floral hop aroma has hints of white grapes, stewed pear and apples. Oddly rubbery and plastic on the palate; phenolic, even smoky with a bready midriff and stale hop tail that shows only the slightest hint of fruit esters. Finishes crisp - I could be mistaken at thinking euro-lager while drinking this! Watery and ill defined. Not in the best of form. A re-rate to be fair!
