Cask at The Green Man, Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, under the alias of Adnams Eat Drink and be Jolly. Amber-gold. Pleasing malty aroma and taste with a little background fruit. Mid bitter finish. Nice low-gravity beer but devoid of any semblance of Christmas atmosphere, which I unkindly punished in my overall score.
On tap: half pint at Nag’s Head, London. Pours honey to amber coloured. Clean, no CO2 visible. Tan head vanishes in a blink. Aroma is sweat, dirty leather, rancid, grass, iron, bitter herbs. Mouth is watery, light, no carb. Quite long finish with nice bitterness and hints of bitter herbs (this finish comes to the rescue in the last minute.) Quite poor, even drunk at such a fantastic venue as Nag’s Head on a sunny day. Grumbo (2946) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2017

Light to medium body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation. A nice light bitter. Stuu666 (13395) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 3, 2017

Cask in the Nell Gwynne. Copper coloured bitter. Some sweetish malts and actually quite hoppy, marmalade, dry and bitter finish. Very tasty at 3.4% and hence sessionable. Slightly at a loss for the reviews punishing this for not being Christmassy... mzaar (3463) - Varberg, SWEDEN - SEP 24, 2015
Cask. Klar bärnstensfärgad med ett tjockt vitt skum. Härliga dofter av smörkola och röda bär. Smakinslag av smörkola, frukt och gräs. Medelstor kropp. Rund och gräddig munkänsla. Njutbar beska i avslutningen. Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - SEP 17, 2015
