Cask at Arnold Machin (JDW), Newcastle under Lyme. Pours golden with a white head. Sharp citric golden ale. Too harsh.

downender (8687) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2017
Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2017. Golden in colour, with a small, off-white, head. A thin tasting pale ale, with a hint of stone fruits, lager malts and moderately bitter finish. Dull all round and way below Adnams’ normal standards.

Cask - pale yellow with decent white head. No carbonation. Fruity aroma, good mouthfeel, very easy drinking - light consistency - refreshing. Ok though weak aftertaste.

flowery and hoppy aroma, cloudy golden hue, hoppy and flowery character with quite a dry finish.

Cask conditioned. Light golden beer with lacy head. Fragrantly hoppy and creamy but not much depth to the flavour. Highly rinkable but there are better summer beers

Hazy gold color. Quite boring beer, some malt, poor hops, no freshness…

Cask (handpump) @ The Fat Cat, Norwich, England NR2.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, sour malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. (310708)

Pale ale appearance with a sour aroma and lightly hopped and very sour flavour. Not one of the best beers I have ever tried.

Cask @ The Waterhouse, Manchester. Blonde with a head. A malty bitter in character.

Handbill cask at the Bowling Green, Leicester. Blond, clear with a small white head. Floral buttery and grainy aroma. Taste is worse: malty, buttery and messy. Unfortunately the finish is long. Not tasty but I don’t completely hate it.
