Pint at the Bridge House, SE1. Golden body, small head, clear. Very light, lots of hops, some lemony citrus - very dry. Malt sweetness in the finish. Has a creamy mouth feel. Very easy to drink, pleasant pint. It was hot day when I had a couple of pints of Regatta (Marathon Sunday 2007 - nothing better than having a pint watching poor folks running 26.4 miles!), and it was a hugely enjoyable pint.
Handbill cask at the Bowling Green, Leicester. Blond, clear with a small white head. Floral buttery and grainy aroma. Taste is worse: malty, buttery and messy. Unfortunately the finish is long. Not tasty but I don’t completely hate it. Grumbo (2955) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2017
Cask at the Greyhound, Ipswich. Pours pale gold with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, hop, grain, fruit and grass. Toward heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Had this a fair few times years ago and I remember it being a lot better back then. Beese (2776) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2017

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2017. Golden in colour, with a small, off-white, head. A thin tasting pale ale, with a hint of stone fruits, lager malts and moderately bitter finish. Dull all round and way below Adnams’ normal standards. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2017
