Cask at Victoria Station Spooneria, 24/12/14. Chestnut brown topped with a moderate beige swirl. Nose is biscuit, perfume, light coffee notes, nutty. Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, brown sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings and some faint hop tunes. Adequate but not as good as most of Adnams more recent offerings.

A dark reddish brown coloured beer with a creamy coloured frothy head. A strong hop aroma floral and citrusy, grapefruit and lime. Dry mouthfeel. A zesty bitterness, loads of citrusy hop flavours, grapefruit and lime again, then a hint of dark caramel malt to balance the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
