2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber beer with a thin head. A mild aroma with a citric edge to it. The flavour is also not especially strong though that’s probably to be expected. Citrusy and slightly hoppy as well, it’s not anything special but it’s quite pleasant for a fairly low-alcohol beer.
Clear nutty color with a thick off white head. Looks good. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium light body and an average carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Some wort, bready, herbal and fruity flavor. Decent ale at only 2.7%.Rune (13352) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 6, 2017
[The Greater Anglia train session Feb 17 – Norwich to Ipswich]
500ml bottle from East of England Co-Op Foodstore, shared on the train from Norwich to Ipswich and Chelmsford. Clear golden-brown in body colour. Fair pearl white head. Vague taste profile of sweaty hops and mid-sweet malts. Taste of bread, caramel and some impact of leafy hop bitterness to the finish. Easy to drink. Not bad considering the low abv. (18.02.2017). Bottle. For a 2.7% beer this is really very good. Actually for any abv beer this is very good. Dark brown in colour. Not much of an aroma. Excellent body. Rose Turkish Delight flavours. Short lived base bitter finish. AshtonMcCobb (6843) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 26, 2016
