Cask (handpump) @ [ London Overground pub crawl ]. Tapping the Admiral, 77 Castle Road, Kentish Town, London, Greater London England NW1 8SU.
Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, grass notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask conditioned at Tapping the Admiral, Kentish Town, London. Amber with white head. Malt lead beer, grainy with a dose of caramel, some sweetish toffee then a leafy bitterness. Decent enough considering the ABV. kwik-lime (1915) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2012
My notes say formal aroma. I think that probably meant floral, damn auto-correct. This is nicely balanced with an earthy character but lacking big character and comes over a bit dull, if very drinkable. Fine as a session beer, if you’d want to session a 2.7% beer. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 15, 2012

Cask conditioned handpump Adelphi Leeds 02/05/12. An amber coloured beer with a tight white head. Nice berry fruity hops throughout. A noticeable lack of alcohol but the hop flavours are good. No sign of the usual Adnams house yeast flavour. An honourabkle beer. cgarvieuk (24166) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 21, 2012
