bottle, Tesco Exmouth. Amber golden colour, white head. Malty, hints of nuts, pleasantly hoppy. Easy drinking beer. ThirstyBird (2925) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2015
From the bottle it pours a clear amber/brown with a tan head. The smell is fruit, caramel, bread. The taste is crisp up front, toasted malt, caramel, fruit ending fairly bitter and dry. Light in body with rather active carbonation. uckelman (799) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2015
Clear, copper colored. Almost no head. Mild herbal aroma, with hints of malt. Flavor is very nutty and roasty. Medium-heavy body. Sim81 (17) - - MAY 31, 2015
Bottle. A very good bitter. Good flavour all the way through, never watery. Easy to drink, quite light, not too many heavy or overly rich flavours. Therefore I think this would be ideal for people who enjoy lager, but are looking for more flavour in their drink. canddw (100) - - MAY 29, 2015
Dark amber beer with a large foamy head. Nose has biscuit, lemon, pineapple and hay. Taste is sweet biscuit, lots of lemon, hints of hay and tangy light bitter finish. Nice beer.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a medum sized beige head. Nice and mild caramel malt aroma. Taste starts sweet, mild caramel presence, followed by a gentle hoppy bitterness and a short aftertaste. Drinkable, mild and non-offensive. Nothing special, though. Still, not bad. Tastes of caramel, a very slight hint of fruitiness, fading into herbal hops with a mild bitter aftertaste. Not great but not bad. zimbo (961) - SCOTLAND - MAY 5, 2015
Don’t get Adnams apparent seaside sgnature in this one. Some traces of orange and dry earth though and a firm enough structure but not much else. gripweed57 (2462) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - APR 24, 2015
500 ml bottle. Hazy dark amber color with a moderate creamy firm beige head. Aromatic earthy toasted malt nose has a fragrant toffee bouquet. Soft and silky smooth mouthfeel leads to a sweet toasted malt palate that is reminiscent of toffee and English Breakfast tea. Slightly tart with dryish notes in mid taste. Bitter Fuggle hops are subtle yet present in the finish. Smooth and ever quaffable. This would pair nicely with Fish and Chips. cutitoutdave (67) - - APR 21, 2015
Pours clear amber from 12 oz with thin white head. Caramel & honey aroma, maybe some green apples. Bitter smooth flavor. Ample mouthfeel with light carbonation. Easily drinkable ESB with nice aroma.
