Bitters just don’t hold up for commercial distribution, so get em local or brew em yourself. With that said the aroma is caramelized sugar sweetness with a stale bread smell. The favor is much the same with a lot of toffee flavor and the burton on trent body and saltiness you’d expect. A muted version of a great style not worth the money here in the states. Get your bitters fresh, young and tender. Nisse666 (7401) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 1, 2014

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Deeper clear copper colour with a thin head. Has a grainy bitterness, but not too bitter with a small sweetness in both aroma and taste. BenOver (314) - SLOVENIA - NOV 27, 2014
Aroma is slightly hoppy, gentle but nice. Pours with medium to a lot of head. More carbonation than usual. Quite pale with an interesting aftertaste that evolves in to a slightly honey-like sensation. Not quite well balanced but still ok. beer-yum (1703) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 19, 2014
A beer that ticks all the right "Bitter" boxes and is of a strength that allows one to partake as one would like. What’s not to like?

Pint bottle. Dark amber with a little foam that does not last long. A malty aroma that also has fruit. Not big. The flavor begins spicy and there is some unpleasant sourness underneath. Floral and a bit of toffee. Bitterness is moderate. This is just ok. callmemickey (4542) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 4, 2014

50cl can from Systembolaget, Strömstad. Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Mild malty and caramelly aroma with fruity notes, noticable, but mildly hoppy and hits of dried fruits, herbs and spices. A bit sweet with malty and mildly hoppy flavours and a decently bitter finish. Not quite my thing, but fair enough. Toomio (590) - Joensuu, FINLAND - SEP 14, 2014
Kautta linjan tasapainoinen olut. Puoliviileänä hyvät aromit. Hieno ulkonäkö, sopivan paksu ja omintakeinen.
