Pours a rich amber color with a small but fluffy off white head.
The aroma is fruity, toasty, and lightly sweet caramel malt with just a touch of earthy hop character.
The flavor is nicely balanced, only lightly sweet with a big leafy hop character and mild bitterness. The malt is very much the key player here with a light caramel, some fruitiness, and a mild toasty character.
It’s really very typical of imported, bottled, bitter in the US... but more agreeable than they usually are.
500 ml bottle. Clear brownish with small white head. Little malty smell. Taste is sweet with low bitterness. Malty but thin body. A bit watery.
