UPDATED: APR 9, 2005 [Cask at GBBF 2003] A clear nutbrown beer with a small bubbly head. The aroma is very faintly malty. The flavor is very nicely hoppy - a lot of aroma hop in the flavor. It ends on a dry bitterness. A nice bitter - reminds me of an IPA.

Cask at the Anthologist. Clear copper pour with a medium, white head. Standard aroma, some leafy bitters, earth, bready malts. Flavor isn’t bad, lightly sweet with toasty bread and mild, citric bitters. Light to medium in body with fine to average carbonation. Dries out in the finish with modest malt sweetness, faint citrus and earthy hops that hit the throat. Unexciting overall but not bad.
