COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special for Wetherspoons Spring 2014 International Real Ale Festival.

Stu McKinlay and Sam Possenniskie have travelled to Adnams Brewery, in Suffolk, to brew this beer especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. This modern cult classic is inspired by the original IPAs, but dry-leafed with judicious amounts of Earl Grey blue flower tea, generating an intoxicating floral and citrus aroma, plus a quenching, dry finish.
Hops used: Motueka, Pacifica, Southern Cross

Blik @ Little delirium, Amsterdam. Eerste reactie. This is my cup of thee.

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with caramel and mint. Sweet spicy and malty flavour with a dry, herbal finish

Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in March 2014 - Deep Orangey Amber in colour. Average head. Some lacing. Very Fruity; orange and lemon citrus, almost marmalade. Syrupy. Hoppy; some hop bitterness. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Tea leaf adds a dry slightly herbal edge. Sweet fruity malty throughout. Increasingly dry into the finish. Liked this. Decent. (2014-03-28)

Keg at The Queens Head, Kings Cross, Thursday 17th March 2016 Quite a wonderful tea aroma on the nose, this works beautifully, leafy, aromatic, sweet, great. In the mouth it’s less delicate (still nice) malty and fullsome the hops are less punchy. A9 A4 T6 P3 Ov15 3.7

This beer has it all...a wonderful aroma...beautiful head and golden colour and the taste is so complex with citrus and tropical fruit and bergamot with an explosion of flavours !!! Fabulous......best is on tap at "The Kingston Blue" in Cambridge ......great atmosphere and best kept wide selection of Beer in Cambridgeshire.......all credit to Ben.

Bright bronze colour with a thin white, fast dissipating head. Earl grey, grape and passionfruit on the nose - an interesting mix. The tea is very forward to taste, with a gentle spice and malty aftertaste. There’s a piney hop flavour throughout - this is a really complex beer that hides behind a simple dominant facade. Quite thick on the palate with a nice mouth feel and gentle carbonation, none to confronting, allowing the flavour to shine.

A love/hate sort of beer that I happen to like. Makes a nice change from the lingering bitterness of most of the other beers I enjoy drinking. A great way to start (or finish) a session.

Big earl grey flavor and aroma. Bergamot blends perfectly into honey and black tea.
