High Wycombe House Warming. Thanks to Colin for the can. Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, reasonable carbonation. Light malts, light creamy sweetness. Hop spice. Good orange - tangerine before a light floral finish. Decent.

Can from Booths, Media City. Dirty amber with a thin head. Has a palatable enough texture with a fuller citrus tropical fruitiness in both aroma and taste.

Can from Whole Foods. Unusual can opening, not the easiest to drink or pour from. Deep amber colour, big white head. Burnt sugar and almost bitter crystal malts, thin body, generic c hop. Clunky, almost harsh, doesn’t come together. I would really like a nice pint of bitter now....

Bittersweet orange, pale malts, light grass and straw. Slightly hazy, dark gold, medium, frothy, white head. Medium bitter. More bittersweet orange, marmalade, soft carbonation, light bodies, slightly watery texture, bitter finish. Just about OK SIPA, could do with more intensity. Can from Whole Foods Market, Kensington.

Can at The High WyCum tasting, Chez Bois, tfrom me via RS HW 05/11/16. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is bitter orange, grass, straw, orange jelly, toasted bread. Taste comprises grains, bread, orange peel, straw, faint citrics. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average for style but not a complete shitter.

On tap at the Black Isle Bar, Inverness. Appearance - orange amber red with a decent head. Nose - dank and earthy. General resin notes. Some dried orange perhaps. Taste - dry and earthy again. There’s a bit of a dry leave thing going on. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - doesn’t really work for me.

Can [email protected] The Tanner, London (28/08/2016) - orange coloured pour with white head. Citrus fruity hoppy and malty aroma and taste with notes of tangerine, some caramel malty sweetness, grassy and light floral nuances into the hoppy finish. Ok.
