COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Norwegian: Dette er en karakteristisk IPA frå den amerikanske vestkyststilen. Kjenneteikn ved dette ølet er ein fengjande humlearoma og ein solid bitterheit. IPA går godt med litt robust mat, men kan også nytast åleine.

English: This is an IPA in the style known from the American west coast.

Burk. Riktigt bra IPA.

330ml can at home in Richmond whilst watching olympic rhythmic gymnastics. As ’Ægir India Pale Ale’, 6.5%, BB June 2017. Nice can pattern, entire top comes off the tin. Very dark orange, hazy, just a few bubbles, dense foamy beige head, streaky lacing. Aroma is mostly celery and rhubarb, okra, bay leaf. Weird vibe. Body is light, pretty spritzy carbonation, touch foamy. Taste is grassy, lots of straw, chalky, spearmint, more celery, leafy with a tangy astringent pine finish. A pretty different profile, but does the West Coast pine bomb thing well. Solid, unspectacular.

Beerheart65 (1503) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 23, 2016
Clear dark ruby, big creamy head is yellowish brown, lacing patches. Sweet and malty, fruity hops, dark bread, bit caramel, woody tones, nuts, citrus, red berries. Flavor goes towards british esb, medium body, bitter finish is woody and long, soft carbonation. Quite dark and woody tones for an ipa but I liked this ok.

Theydon_Bois (21425) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2016
Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 04/05/16. Golden amber with a decent off White head. Nose is caramel malt, bitter orange, earthy hop, light bread. Taste comprises orange pith, caramel malt, chalky minerals, sweet tropicals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA if a touch sweet.
