Norwegian: Dette er en karakteristisk IPA frå den amerikanske vestkyststilen. Kjenneteikn ved dette ølet er ein fengjande humlearoma og ein solid bitterheit. IPA går godt med litt robust mat, men kan også nytast åleine.

English: This is an IPA in the style known from the American west coast.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy orange with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 130513

Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 04/05/16. Golden amber with a decent off White head. Nose is caramel malt, bitter orange, earthy hop, light bread. Taste comprises orange pith, caramel malt, chalky minerals, sweet tropicals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA if a touch sweet.

On tap at Ægir, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is quite spicy, with a crisp crackery malt and very mild spicy hop character. Changing my rating here as the first time I had this it was diacetyl infected. A mild, spicy, crisp IPA. Decent.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, hops, flowers, citrus and malt.

Hazy light amber w a big head. Lots of hop nose - mostly forest and a bit if citrus. Fresh, zesty hop character, piney bitterness and plenty of rich Munich-ish malts.

TBone (18949) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 31, 2016
Bottle at Viking XPRS. Hazy amber color, steady small white head. Piney, resiny hoppyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Resiny, piney hoppy flavor. Some caramel in the background. Strong "resin-style" ipa, so slow sipper.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Hoppy fruity aroma, grapefruit, citrus, grassy bitterness, floral, some biscuits. Hoppy flavor, grassy, metallic, some dill. Bitter hops and not that much more. A bit of a disappointment.

Tap (Kitty’s, Helsinki)
Nice hoppy aroma, decent IPA. Watery palate, carbonation detectable, not a positive component. Taste follows aroma. Boring, heading to APA mashiness and stickiness. Dull IPA, but niot actually bad.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2010 Bottle. Clear, deep golden pour, with an off-white head. Lovey piney and resiny nose, with a good maltyness and citrus too. Malt, beef-stock, resin, citrus and some sweetness, but more on the bitter side than on the sweet side. Full body and a long, resiny finish with some camphor. Really lovely. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.7. 070909

Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under a nice beige head. Malty-sweet, slightly beef-stock like nose with grapefruit, pine cones and resin from the hops. Malty-sweet, beefstocky flavor too, with the same piney, resiny and citrusy hops. Fine, lingering bitterness. Full body. A really pleasant and easy to drink IPA. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.7. 081128
Bottle. It pours a clear, dark orange-golden body topped by a big beige head leaving nice lacings. A good layer of sediments are easily stirred from the bottom of the bottle, so a gentle pour is called for. Citrusy, pine-cone like nose with a solid caramel malty base. A bit sweet on the palate maybe, but with enough bitterness to deal with it. Almost meaty, with pinecones and the white part of orange peel. Delicious bitterness and prickling feeling on the tongue in the end. Full-bodied and well carbonated. Really good to finally have it available at Vinmonopolet. 100329
