This could in fact be my favorite beer, and certainly my favorite IPA at the moment. I love everything about it from the size of the bottle to the label design, to the hoppy citrus aroma to the foggy orange appearance to the glorious fizzy mouthfeel to the dry and not-too-bitter ending. I hope that this summer I can get my hands on some. Florya (2023) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 2, 2015
How: Bottle. Appearance:Hazy orange. Aroma:Floral, honey, hops, mild citrus. Palate: medium to full body, soft carbonation, nice mild bitter finish. kokkenrolv (348) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 11, 2015
Bottle. Aroma of honey, peaches, mild citrus and grapefruit. Appears golden reddish brown, nice small white head. Extremly well balanced beer with taste of honey, malt, citrus, hop, hints of peaches and pear. Very smooth medium/low carbonation, middle+ body. My favorite ipa, and a beer that can take any food-challenge. KASCHK (2) - Berlin, GERMANY - NOV 10, 2014 does not count
A very well balanced, strong bodied and richt IPA, American style hoppiness with a touch of Norwegian brightness. Simply stunning! abstractbeer (241) - NORWAY - SEP 4, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2010 Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours a light golden beauty, with an inch of large, creamy white head. Smells like newly cut grass in hop heaven with sprinkled chocolate on top. The head quickly dissolves at the edges, leaving a cool "island" in the middle.

Oh my. There’s both caramel and fruit in this aroma, peaches and raisins, inside this beautiful thick, rich package. Oh my. I’m no expert, but this is true beauty! Fresh as a morning bath in the ocean, and comfortable as a late night by the fireplace. I don’t have much experience, but this is easily my favorite IPA so far! Wow! This aroma is full of parmesan cheese, grass, crunched nuts, mandarin oranges and happy thoughts. It feels really soft in your mouth, with the perfect amount of thickness and bitterness. Mmm. Oh yeah!
Drinking this beer is like laying in the sun, in a field, in the silence, a long way away, happily at peace.
Appearance is light orange, hazy with a frothy foam top.
Hops are dominant with a citrusy taste. Taste is medium sweet and
beautifully bitter. Full body, creamy, lively, bitter finish. This is a wonderful beer, one of the best IPAs I’ve ever had. I don’t know what could have made this better. edsbrew1 (13) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 4, 2017
Very Nice IPA, pours dark gold/orange, Thin frothy head that does last but dissipates initially. Definitely citrus dominant on the nose, Taste buds shout out orange peel, tangerine and grapefruit marmalade with also sweeter tones of peach and other stone fruit. Lingering grapefruit bitterness and increasing levels of resin each sip.
Pleasant mouthfeel from biscuit and caramel malt.
In summary though Grapefruit/orange prevails and is sort of an in between a Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin and a Brewdog Elvis Juice. I like it a lot, a very nice IPA, perhaps 65-70 IBU fobar (241) - Søgne, NORWAY - JAN 20, 2010
Served from 500ml bottle and correct Ægir-glass.
Orange colored body with off-white head. Nice malty taste with something undefined wild in the background. (Maybe some wild berries or something...?...) Traces of citrus as well. Well balanced. Long aftertaste. Holmen2 (3567) - NORWAY - MAY 27, 2013
Amber in colour, not quite clear. Foamy off-white head. Wonderful floral aroma of citrus and grapefruit. More bitter taste, but balanced by malt sweetness and some caramel. Also orange marmalade and grapefruit seeds. Medium long and bitter aftertaste. Full body. A superbly balanced IPA. Beer5000 (6431) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 15, 2007
On tap. Golden orange body with a nice off-white head. Strong floral, citrus, grapefruit aroma. Flavor is dominated by American hop, grapefruit, peach, hay and malt. Very harmonic and typical American style IPA. Finish is long, hoppy and quite bitter. Together with Nøgne Ø this is definitively the best Norwegian IPA available.
