Bottle. Brown murky. Brown toffee, malty bready. Tad syrupy. Full med bodied, soft nice. Butterscotch toffee. Real nice drink. Full, taffy- like. A dessert in itself.

Brown hazy beer with long lasting head. Aroma has ripe fruits, yeast, syrup and some roasted malts. Taste is roasted, dry, earthy, after warming up some alcohol pops up too. Full body with medium carbonation.

Small slightly bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel malts, "knekk", hay, nuts, roasted grain, dark sugar, grass, hints of chocolate. Taste is slightly sweet, caramel malts, hay, nuts, "knekk", dark sugar, grass, hints of chocolate and almond essence. Medium bitterness, a little "flat" mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Lindisfarne deserves the limerick: Dark copper beer out of the bottle. Roasted malts smoothly down throttle. Syrup prunes smoke. From barrel of oak. Sour fruit malts linger out the wattle.

Duntoyou (107) - Kr.sand, NORWAY - MAR 15, 2014
Kopper/raven. Off white head. Lots of malts in the nose. Smels "thin". Mdium carbonation. Not much complecity. Maybe some dried fruits, but nothing hammering. Baught because i wanted to try it next to gavle scotch ale

Mørk brun uklar med et tynt beige skumlag. Lukter karamell, gjær og noe røyk. Fruktig og mye røyksmak, medium bitterhet og kullsyre. Lang god ettersmak.

smmaaren (588) - NORWAY - MAR 8, 2014
50 cl bottle. Pours dark amber with small head. Thick creamy mouthfeel. A bit oily texture. Mild sweetness in taste. Aromas are smoke and coffee.

kordestanchi (101) - - MAR 7, 2014
Aroma creamy head. Pours reddish and tastes a lot like a porter. Sweet ending which is a little bit bitter as well

Creamy mouth, but not too thick. Sweet finish..slightly smokey. Very smooth for a Scotch ale.
