COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

bottle thanks to Rune and Finn. Thanks guys. Bottle drunk at home whilst waiting for some rice to boil to go with my thai red curry after a mixed day at work. Both unbelievably depressed and also so happy I will meet all my targets for the year by the first week of December. Deep brown red colour with lasting bubbly beige head. Slightly smoked aroma. More smoke and peat in the mouth. Blimey that’s quite juicy in the malts as well as some peaty smoke. Interesting beer. Some good juicy hedgerow fruits from the malts. A little prickle on the finish. But also some sweetness. Pretty decent to be honest. Good balance between sweet fruit and peaty smoke. Good. thanks guys.

Mild, malty aroma. Taste of bread, malt, and a little smoke. Quite typical of a red ale, but good nonetheless.

Taster EBCF. This is very nice stuff. Pours deep gold/amber, soft foamy head. Big prune and soft fruit aroma, some syrup and honey. Lovely soft, sweet and raisin taste. Really, really good.

Loads of cream and butterscotch in the aroma plus some chocolate and toffee. The butterscotch is also evident in the mouth, plus plenty of grapefruit and pine from the hops. A nice beer, but a little light on the malt for a scotch ale.

Dark red. Caramel and dried fruit, on a full, sweet taste with a lightly bitter finish. Medium body. Overall, a good scotch ale. Tasty but somewhat simple.
