TWG; in the sun. Pours hazy golden, with a moderate somewhat lacing off-white head. Aroma is light malt, grass, light caramel and light citrus fruity.Taste is moderate sweet, light bitter and light spicy, short to moderate lasting. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Wischylini (302) - Grimstad, NORWAY - APR 19, 2014
Pours bright yellow with a small white head that quickly fades away, leaving a lacing on the sides of the glass. The aromas are pale malts and hay, and a very mild clove-like spicyness, there’s some fruity flavours as well - lemon, mostly. The taste is neither sweet nor bitter, but there is a slightly sour finish. The mouthfeel is medium, and the carbonation is fairly lively. Påskesol tastes like something inbetween a hefe and a pale lager - Boring. KM (416) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 18, 2014

Brown 50cl bottle 4.7% pours a bright off-white head on unclear orange-golden body with visible carbonation. A couple of lacings.
Fruity grassy hops and herbal malts to the nose, hints of yellow apples, maybe a pear or two.
Fruity slightly smoked malts in taste, grassy hops, different fruits, syrup, dried peach.
Normal body, modest carbonation, alright balance, sweet and some bitter.
Mild finish, to the sweet side. Overall a decent brew, doesn’t need more abv at all.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2014 25.03.2014, 0,5l bottle (as Ægir Vårsol) sampled @ Handverkerstuene:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, light malts, hay, caramel, grain, weeds, hints of yeast. Taste is slightly sweet grassy, light malts, weeds, caramel, grass, hay, yeast, hints of minerals and cardboard. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and watery mouthfeel. Fair enough. The "new" Vårsol is supposed to be the same as this one. In my opinion, it’s not. Vårsol is just too too different from Påskesol, and a lot better as well.
