In short: A slightly lemony nourishing thirst blond lager. Nothing special but something I’d drink by the gallons
How: Bottle 500ml, purchased directly at the brewpub and consumed fresh one hour later
The look: Cloudy orange-blonde body topped by a medium white head with medium retention
In long: Nose has boiled eggs (I get that from some lagers), lemony meringue and some floral hops. Taste has this true lager sensation that I can never pub into words, very nice full mouthfeel with lots of very soft bubbles, chewy cereals, a slice of unsweetened lemon pie with thick meringue, a tiny bit of cheese cake, a good amount of floral hops. Very satisfying and refreshing thirst lager, good stuff here. Deserves much better than its current below 3.0 rating average. The low ratings do not surprise me, a ratebeer top rater giving a good rating to a thirst lager is probably as rare as a ratebeer top rater getting sex on a regular basis.

500 ml bottle. I’m really glad I ’bumped’ into this one at a grocery store a while back. It is refreshing and has great flavours, and the total picture gives an impression of balance and a desire for an identity of its own.

Bottle, shared while brewing, easter 2012. Golden, hazy body, small white head. Malty aroma with yeast notes, taste of grain and fruit, light grassly hopped. Dry grassy finish.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 10, 2012
It’s hazy yellow-golden with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of fruit, malt and citrus. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of fruit, citrus, light caramel and the finish is slightly dry. It’s a very straightforward and charming beer.

Bottle (50cl) from Meny (Oslo City). Small offwhite head, hazy/milky golden colour. Aroma of straw, yeast, apricot. Well-balanced taste, but lacks some body (feels watery). Mildly bitter-sweet finish.

Bygers (1185) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 29, 2012
Bottle 0,5. A golden beer with a small and blond head. Aroma is malty, cornfield, some grass; nice aroma. Taste is malty, some bitterness that is nicely smooth. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Positive surprise, pure maltyness and enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 17.04.2011
Aroma is somewhat stale with flowery and citrus notes. Also some grainy malt. Flavour has some wheat-like element, some citrus and flowery notes. Not your typical helles, but refreshing anyway.

TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - FEB 27, 2012
