COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

GoufCustom (2121) - HONG KONG - OCT 14, 2017

330 ml can with 360 End bought at YATA in YOHO Mall, Yuen Long.

Looks: Translucent deep amber honeyHalf finger head with soapy off-white foam which lasts for 1 minute; Very good sticky lacing with near zero carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant Ale malt, with strong citrus , orange, honey, strong floral, molasses, strong pine, strong resins, spices, biscuits, dough and fresh grass.

Taste: Close to strong sweet rich Ale malt, with grape fruits, citrus peels, caramel, floral, strong molasses, spices, strong pine, strong resins, herbs, dry biscuits, strong lemon, strong bitter hops and sharp grass.

Body: Full body. Oily and oozy palate.

Mouth Feel: Rich Ale maltyness in a viscous caramel background. Strong grapefruit citrusy hoppiness over the strong pine and resin oozes. Very herbal and flowery with thick but nice honey sweetness, dry biscuity with strong lemon to round. Excellent!

Hoppiness: Strong citrus, orange, strong floral, strong pine, strong resins, spices and fresh grass in nose. Grapefruit, citrus peels, floral, spices, strong pine, strong resins, herbs, strong lemon and sharp grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, high astringent sweet-bitter rich malty finish.

After Taste: Fairly dry. Herbal oozy and strong bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one is like the stronger version of Ægir IPA and more: Nice sweet malty aroma, strong citrusy oozy hops manage to contain the thick sweet taste with a dry bready lemon finish. All being done without going overboard. I am harsh about IIPA and this one wins me over. Well worth buying!

From open-top can. Hazy amber pour, not much carbonation and a nice white head, with beautiful lacing. Aroma of citrus with resinous notes. Tastes bitter, very rich and balanced, with a good malty side with strong caramel, to balance citrus, resin and some tropical fruits. Hops lingers with a very special bitter-sweet after taste. Lovely. Medium body, slick feel, soft carbonation, long bitter-sweet finish. An awesome brew.

Mörk bärnsten, disig. Maltig doft med marmeladtoner och tallbarr. Fin maltsötma i smaken, lite tallbarr, dov fruktighet, välbalanserad, fin avslutande beska. Tjock, lite gräddig munkänsla. En riktigt bra DIPA. (De Klomp 2017-04-01)

Aroma: 7/10 Apperance: 4/5 Taste: 8/10 Palate: 4/5 Overall: 15/20. Aroma of toffee, fruits, pine and citrus. Deep golden with a off-white head.Medium + sweet and medium + bitter. Full body with a average carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. Overall this is a brilliant IIPA, the balance between the flavours are very good, and the warming alcohol in the back is very plesant.

Can. Cloudy orange. Light dusty hop nose, clay, grassy/herbal, could be more aromatic. Deep orange, low offwhite head. Medium full chewy sticky body. Kumquat and leaf , grassy hop covers the alcohol. Barleywineish.

Color naranja, ligeramente turbio, con capa de espuma blanca de dos dedos de grosor no mucha retención). Carbonatación media tirando a alta. Textura oleosa. En nariz: cítricos, malta, resina, algo de alcohol. En boca: cítricos (naranja), mucha malta, muchísima potencia, amargor resinoso elevado junto con un toque de alcohol que juega en su favor. Seca. El amargor continúa en postgusto largo rato. Riquísima.
