-tasting at englegården- Red berries, caramel and long sweet finish. Too sweet for me. Creedence (314) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 4, 2017
Can from brewery. Pours a clear reddish amber with a thin white bubbly head that disappears quickly. Aroma is pleasant berries, bramble. Taste is medium sweetness, light bitterness, slightly metallic with a malty aftertaste. Lively carbonation, medium mouthfeel. OK, but not the best Aegir effort. Aroma of malt, caramel, bread, fruits and hints of herbs, grass and pine needles. Amber with a off-white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a perfectly OK brew, but not particularly interesting. Beer5000 (6768) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2016

Aroma of caramel, malts, grass, bread, pine and a hint of spices. Amber with a off-white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average to soft carbonation. Overall a perfectly decent brew, not the most interesting one out there, but quite enjoyable anyway.
330 ml can. Can’t really see the difference here from the older bottle version as Ægir Brime Red Lager, but someone managed to register this as amber ale, even if the label clearly says red lager. Might be sorted out one day, but so far this seems to be just another extra tick for the same beer. Clear amber body with a decent off-white head. Aroma is malty with soft caramel, some fresh fruit, hint of dry fruit and caramel. Flavor is refreshing but rather straight forward malty, fruity lager with moderate bitterness. Medium body and a bit more bitterness in aftertaste. Tasty and quaffable. abemorsten (3683) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - SEP 14, 2016

500 ml bottle. Unclear golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Rather mild aroma, mostly malt with just a faint hint of fruit. The flavor has soft pale malt, hint of caramel, moderate fruitiness and not much bitterness. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. Easy drinkable beer but a bit too average and light in flavors to make it a favorite of mine.

On tap @ Furukroa. Clear, reddish orange body with a fine off-white head. Aroma is fruity like apricot with a hint of caramel. Flavor is refreshing fruity with light malt and caramel, nice bitter finish. Medium body, refreshing, tasty, balanced and quaffable.

Fin bittersøt balanse, men litt besk bismak. Middels lett fylde.

Tap during onsdag^2 at Cardinal. Hazy light orange body with a creamy off-white head. Good lacing. Sweet sweaty, gym bag aroma. Sweet, bitter, acidic flavors. Medium body. Dry palate. Leaves a blandish impression taste- and aroma wise, but is easy to drink.
Aroma; apple, leaves, mild hops, herbs, pale malts. Rune (13643) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 6, 2016

330ml can from Mathuset Eide Handel. Fair beige head over a golden-brown body with a slight haze. Spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel, almond and herbal hops. Brown malty flavours together with nuts and herbal hops. Dry ending. Medium bodied. Paired quite well with our Sunday fish. Well made (Tromsø 04.09.2016). 500ml bottle served in a Duvel glass and at an ambient drinking temperature at the bar called Kontoret in Bergen. Slightly hazy, dark amber with floaters on the top. Malty and lightly fruity aroma. Hoppy fruits in flavour skilfully mixed with caramel malts. Rounded and discreet bitter finish. Soft on the swallow. Well balance apart for a few distracting notes of yeast. Proves that it is in fact possible to make decent lagers in Norway (19.06.2009).
Canned. fine Balance, malt sweetness, bitterness and some spice. A pleasant summer refreshment. Foffern (1983) - Bodø, NORWAY - AUG 27, 2016

Hazy red/brown, faboulous rocky had and fine lacing. Fruity aroma, sweet malt, red berries and some light sourness. Very well balanced and moreish beer, I’d love to have this fresh on tap. Their best so far (except the IPA)
Can at home. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber bronze colour with an off-white head. Aroma of leather, bread crumbs, caramel, and some sulfur. Malty flavour as well with more fudge, leather, bread crumbs, hay and biscuit. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a balanced bitterness. A little careful and easy-drinking beer. Well-balanced and malty though. lmojoh (1033) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 9, 2016
Boks (ny type) Farge klar brun med hvitt skum som daler fort. Lukt mørk maltaroma. Smak mørk malt/ røstet malt, humle, bra fylde. I det hele et godt øl
