Norwegian: Ølet er fløyelsmjukt og fyldig i smaken, med litt sødme og eit preg av sjokolade og kaffi, som kjem frå rista malttypar. Perfekt til sjokoladekaka! Ei smaksoppleving åleina.

English: The beer is velvely soft and flavorful, with some sweetness and a touch of chocolate and coffee, due to roasted malts. Perfect with chocolate cake. An adventure on it’s own.

Bottle, 500ml, at a restaurant in Oslo. A black colour with no head. A chocolate malt aroma. Flavour is chocolate malt and some dark fruit in the finish. Little carbonation. A tasty brew but not very exciting.

ERB92 (739) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 29, 2014
Coffee, chocolate, nuts and roasted notes in the aroma. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Medium sweet and light bitter. Light to medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a nice porter, but a bit watery.

Andy_ (1110) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 15, 2014
Tap @ Nordic.
Reddish dark brown beer with mocha colored dense and persistent head. Aroma is faint, has litle roastiness and bitter chocolate. Flavor is sweet with cocoa, chocolate and malts. Has a hefty bite of bitterness on the finish, leading into chocolaty aftertaste. Mouthfeel is little thinner than medium but soft with little stinging carbonation on the edges. A tasty porter with a good palate for this ABV.
