Z notatek spisane. Butelka pite na działce. Kolor ciemny brąz wpadający w bursztynowe ciemne, piana słaba ale pozostaje w postaci obrączki. Aromat owocowy, lekko ziołowy z przewagą owoców suszonych. W smaku wytrawne, owocowe, trochę nut chlebowych. Alkohol ukryty genialnie. Na finiszu lekka słodycz, wyśmienite piwo.

330mL bottle from Bucket Boys. BB 24.02.27 Pours a deep copper body, dense beige head persists for the most part. Rich (Oloroso) sherry-like aroma - sultana, dark caramel, vanilla, sweet biscuits, citrus undertones. Syrupy body, thick, sticky without being cloying for a rather large sweet beer, low carbonation as hoped. Sweet sweet malt upfront - lots of dark sugars, sultana, pudding, but it dries out with a citrusy, herbal hop character & firm bitterness, long lingering boozy warmth with a lovely touch of vanilla. Rather formidable, rather lovely!

Pours a cloudy copper colour with a thin white head, a big boozy aroma with malts, caramel, grains, herbs, dark fruits and also earthy cask wood, flavours match the characteristics from the aromas sweet with a light lingering bitter aftertaste, full bodied sticky mouthfeel, a fine warming ale.

Maris (1557) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JUL 29, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 From a 330ml bottle on 29/7/2017. Pours a light amber with the barest of heads. The nose is pleasantly malty, with lots of caramel and toffee, treacle and brown sugar, with lots of zesty citrus fruit (orange, lemon and grapefruit) in the mix.. The sweetness is bet a big, distinct bitterness, which lingers in the mouth. The palate is sticky and syrupy, with the carbonation low. Drinks pretty easily for 13.2%. While I had some reservations at the start, I was a believer as I had the lat sip. An Impressive big beer.

Bottled. old note. The aroma has caramel, sugar. Bit hazy, amber coloured beer with a thin head. The taste is a bit sweet and bitter, has caramel mainly. Not bad, but lacks some complexity.
