UPDATED: DEC 7, 2014 Bottle on Nærbø ølfestival. Dark amber with nice foam. Aroma of cloves, orange, dried fruits and ginger?. Taste cloves (feels to dominating), more dried fruits and a mild bitterness in the end. Finishes with some light sour. A nice balanced beer but to spicy to my taste mjs (7739) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2013
Update: 7.dec 2014. Nice balanced with nice hints of cloves, malty fruits and maybe some kandied range peel. Think now the spice is very nice balanced like the whole beer. Blindtaste this time. Maybe im becoming a big boy.
(Bottle, 0.5 l, at OlutExpo 2013) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, smoke and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, Belgian style yeast, frutiness and bitterness. Afteraste was malty, fruity and bitter. Despite the quite pleasant flavours and aromas the end result was quite messy. tiong (7672) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2013

Pours brown with a smooth head. Aroma of boozy notes, spices and malts. Taste is spicy, malty and stingy with hints of syrup. Finish is spicy and warming with hints of stingy hoppiness. A bit strange and unpleasant.
500 ml bottle @ OlutExpo 2013, Helsinki. Pours a cloudy murky orange colour with a white head. Aroma of wet earth, grass and some biscuit. Flavour of grains, cardboard, floral notes and ginger. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Weird. olio (10597) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2013

Pours murky orange color with a small head. Aroma of vanilla, berries, some listerine and wood. Not pleasant at any point. Flavour is the same with some caramel glue notes. Not good man.
50 cl bottle @ Olutexpo Eructoblaster (4412) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 15, 2013
Aroma has butterscotch, some sweet malty notes and caramel. Flavour has butterscotch, sticky caramel, and toffee. Also some woody tones. Leathery palate. Just too sweet and sticky. Not bad anyway, I like the butterscotch notes here.
Bottle - 500ml. Hazy copper body with a thin off-white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with grainy and cinnamon hints. Its robust, well balanced taste carries spicy, brown sugar, fruity, and cinnamon notes. Ends with a warming bittersweet finish. Enjoyable. fonefan (51603) - VestJylland, DENMARK - APR 4, 2013

Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, spicy, moderate hoppy, christmas spices, nuttmeg, clove. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spices, christmas spices, pine needles, allspice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. I normal do not like spiced beers but this is okay and not bad in any way.
Bottle at the courtesy of Rune. High long lasting off-white creamy head. Very dark hazy orange brown body. Mild and slightly spicy herbal cocoa roasted malt aroma. Sweet and yet dusty raisin cocoa flavor. Low carbonation. Short sweet finish. Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle. Dark amber beer with a big tanned head. Hoppy and spicy aroma. Similar flavour. A really nice christmasbeer :-)
