Fantastisk sødme, smak og lukt. Meget god øl fra norges beste bryggeri uten tvil. Er man i tvil, velg Ægir BAE (26) - NORWAY - NOV 26, 2014
Smakt på Cardinal, Stavanger. Veldig flott balanse mellom sødme og bitterhet. Et herlig juleøl! oltorst (3) - - NOV 8, 2013 does not count

Great beer. Nice aromas, but a little lack of aftertaste. Reminds me of Underlig Jul, but softer. morri (277) - NORWAY - FEB 11, 2013
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2013 500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Beige, small and long lasting head. Amber body. Sweet aroma of alcohol and raisins, and a hint of apricot, hay and pine. Malty sweetness. Best served slightly below room temperature. In my opinion a very good christmas beer. Cunningham (7975) - Halden, NORWAY - MAR 5, 2013

Appearance: Hazy red amber color with a big frothy tan head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Fruity and spicy.
Palate: Medium to full body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness. Creamy carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Fruity (plum style), Christmas spicy (cardamom, cinnamon) on a balanced sweet deep malty background. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: OH YES. One more please!.
Personal stats: Bottle from Vinmonopolet Oslo - Vika in Oslo, Norway.
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2014 Bottle on Nærbø ølfestival. Dark amber with nice foam. Aroma of cloves, orange, dried fruits and ginger?. Taste cloves (feels to dominating), more dried fruits and a mild bitterness in the end. Finishes with some light sour. A nice balanced beer but to spicy to my taste
Update: 7.dec 2014. Nice balanced with nice hints of cloves, malty fruits and maybe some kandied range peel. Think now the spice is very nice balanced like the whole beer. Blindtaste this time. Maybe im becoming a big boy. StilleStorm (1529) - Stavanger, NORWAY - NOV 22, 2013
DWG; Pours copper with medium lasting off- white frothy head. Nose is perfumed with spices, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, berries and dark fruits, a Christmas adventure. Taste profile mirrors adding caramell and chocolate. Oily texture, soft carbonated. Bitter, spicy and sweet finish.
Very Merry Christmas.
