Tmoney99 (14855) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2014
Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear pale color with an average white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy aroma of green apple and floral. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet apple complex flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations were surpassed.

750ml bottle, shared with local raters. Labeled 7.5% ABV. Clear golden color. Little bubbly, off-white head. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, effervescent lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Apple flavor, apple peel, and some good light funk to this. Moderate tart taste, moderate sweet, and dry finish. Pretty solid, champagne-like cider. Date on the bottle is 2011.123.1 . Age seems to have produced a nice amount of pleasant funk to the aroma ("2240 produced"). I like it more as I go. Nice stuff.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks good; a transparent light gold with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells appley with notes of fresh baked bread. Tastes like it smells with a solid, lively mouthfeel. Not bad.

brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 16, 2013
Clear golden pour with a fizzy white head. Nice dry aroma, lots of apple, and very yeasty. Some light tartness, mild fruit sweetness, and an interesting floral note. The flavor is very dry. Tons of apple skin, nice fruit flavor, a little bit of sweetness up front, and a strong yeast flavor. Really nice.

cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Bottle @ home. 2008 vintage. Pours a fairly clear, golden appearance with an initial fizzy head that quickly disappears. A touch funky, herbal, dry, apple skin, spritzy aroma. Refreshing, moderately tart, dry, a bit floral, lightly earthy, apple flavor that is very easy to drink and refreshing.

MicroGrog (403) - FT: Stale Polotmavý in Queens, New York, USA - DEC 5, 2012

Bottle from New Beer($11.95). 2008.70.1, 1568 produced. Been sitting on this one for a bit. Guess I forgot about it. Oops.
Chalice. Clear, classic light amber beer color. Crazy activity. A quick blitzing, white soda pop head.
Smells of fresh linen. Bittersweet flesh. Restrained floral peel. Wet gravel.
Tastes of minerally & tannic juice along with gritty/coarse/thick apple skin. Big, grappa-ish alcohol. Touch of plastic & leftover yeast.
Microbeaded, crazy spirited, & bone dry. Medium to moderate tartness, with surprisingly low acidity, that seems to make it feel that much more mellow. No big zesty punch to it, but at the same time, I’m glugging this one down without much hesitation.

rbfishstick (141) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Enjoyed via a tasting at the winery. Pours a light yellow with a small white head - not very carbonated. The smell is clean - like outdoor in summer. The taste is of tart apples with watery palate. A good, dry cider.

1FastSTi (3361) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 8, 2012
Sampled at AeppelTreow winery. The cider was dry and minerally with lots of golden delicious apples. Clear light pear color. Crisp apple flavor and sweeter.

obguthr (6590) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 30, 2011
Apple nose wih caramel overtones. Crystal clear champagne color, huge bubbly head, constant streams of carbonation. Overly fizzy harsh mouthfeel. Dry apple but with the mere impresssion of caramel. Not as complex as I had hoped, weak overall.

madvike (3292) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 29, 2011
On tap at GTMW - Pours straw yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is light, dry apple, with a touch of cinnamon. Taste is dry and tart apple, smooth as hell, with a dry finish that has just a touch of spice. Light and effervescent in the mouth...very nice.
