COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A super spicy saison inspired by a hot Bloody Mary. Brewed with Tomatoes, Tabasco chillis, black pepper, Lemon juice and celery salt, the aroma is dominated by tomato and the black pepper helps to accentuate the spicy character of the Saison yeast. #collabfest2017

October 2017 - Keg at Brewdog Shepherd's Bush for Collabfest. As 'Affinity There's Saison About Mary'. Pale yellow, slight haze, still, foamy white head. Aroma is grains, lager malts, airy. Body is frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste is barley grains, light malt sugars, chilli, spiced and dusty finish. Not much to it. Tastes like some sort of chilli lager. OK I guess. Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Light yellow/golden, hazy with a ring of white head. Light aroma of icing sugar, cooking herbs, strawberries... odd. Tastes sweet at first, but the spicy heat isn't long in coming. It's intense but never overpowering, more peppercorn than chili pepper. Still l warming on the lips well after the sip is gone. Medium to heavy carbonation. I liked this but wouldn't drink it all night.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2017 Keg, Brewdog Leicester. Hazy golden with a thin head. Spicy and warming chilli with light cheesy funky lemon. Definite but background tomato with spices. Interesting and pretty good. A chill beer done well.

Keg at BrewDog, Clapham in Oct 2017 for #CollabFest2017 - Hazy yellow gold in colour. Slight white head. Very Spicy; peppery, chillies. Saison yeast. Fruity; citrus lemon, tomatoes. Malty; grainy malts. Distinctly spicy but not OTT. Spicy yeasty citrus fruity throughout. Fun beer. Very drinkable. Enjoyed this. (2017-10)

Keg at BD Sheps Boost, 20/10/17. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is damp straw, grains, light peppercorn, faint red berry esters, light spice. Taste comprises toasted grains, light yeast esters, tomato rinse, red pepper, light chilli heat, citric peel, damp hay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok spicy saison ... just about gets across what it says on the tin!

Keg at BrewDog Shepherd’s Bush for Collabfest 2017. Clear golden. Unassuming slightly hoppy and yeasty aroma. A bit miner ally upfront. The chilli is powerful and really builds. Not bad in and of itself, but not perfect for this type of festival. More than a third will likely lead to heartburn!

Very interesting. Spicy like chilies, especially in the aftertaste. Quite fizzy, especially compared to other British beers.
