A bottle that I had forgotten and was 3 years over best before date. Big white foam that fast goes down to a lasting lase. Small amount of solids. Small plesent typical belgian phenolic aroma. Yeasty taste with medium body. Eaven though the age it is still fresh. CapedBrewsader (265) - Brasschaat, BELGIUM - FEB 17, 2009
33cl bottle at home: Brilliant old gold with a massive, slowly fading, yellowed head. First impressions are of earthy hops wrapped in tinfoil. Wow, really aluminum character with hops and some breadiness. Yeast is quite abundant in the nose as well with some alcohol fighting its way through. Taste starts out with brad, yeast and pretty sharp tinny hops. Can’t get away from this metallic character. Alcohol, bread and biscuit take you through the middle to a nicely hoppy (for a belgian) finish. Light mouthfeel. A bit of raw earth in the back of the throat with tin and hops working their way back to meet the earth. The metal seems to work itself out in the flavor but never leaves the aroma. Has a very nice taste too it of hops and yeast with some fruits and also a good amount of bitterness.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2008-10-17) Orange. Cloudy. Medium sized white head. Sweet yeasty nose. Full bodied and dryish palate with lot of carbonation. Yeast, bitterness, fruitiness, sweetness and hint of liquorice in taste. Sweet and bitter aftertaste. harrisoni (18572) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2008
Bottle from Dranken Geers. Now this I like. Gold, thin white head. Grassy hop aorma. It’s a hoppy blond, good hops, bit empty on the malts maybe, but the finish is pretty good. After half a dozen syrupy blonds, this is a bit of a treat. Very dirnkable and I’ll buy this again. Wim (3980) - Weelde, BELGIUM - AUG 17, 2008
