Lovely dark gold color. Yeasty undertones amidst a medium pale malt body. Some mustard seed and a clear hop end that I appreciated - leaves a sharp biting bitter like orange peel, dryish too. Quite good Zenwolf (269) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2011
Bottle Share. Good brew that pours a golden blonde with a nice creamy head. Hops and Malts are well balanced. Crisp and sharp with the right amount of bitter and citrus. Good brew adamnowek (2830) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 31, 2015
Clear orange-ish golden colour with a nice persistent head. Aroma is citrus and orange. Taste is similar but quite mild with a hint of bitterness. Beerhunter111 (21481) - P´Castle, GERMANY - JUN 22, 2015
Klare kräftig dunkel goldgelbe Farbe, schöne weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch kräftig malzig, süß, Honig, wenig Gewürze. Geschmack süß malzig, reifes Obst, Honig, dezente Hopfigkeit, sehr gut! josanguapo (1733) - SPAIN - NOV 29, 2015
From cervezasespeciales. After dinner. In La Trappe chalice. More herbal, bitter, dry and less sugary than the typical belgian beer, but nice anyway. Light body.

Bottle 33cl. Poured into a trappist glass. Hazy medium golden, small but good looking frothy white to off-white head, very good retention, good lacing; shy aroma, malty, orange, banana, yeast, grass; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, hoppy, herbal notes, slight metallic undertone, long duration, hopbitter finish, herbal and light spicy notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; quite elegant and fresh, regular Affligem quality. 330ml bottle (Poirotti, Helsinki)
Side by side with the ordinary Affligem blond. Rich orange, lively tight head. Light hoppy aroma. Body is succulent and very strongly but pleasantly hoppy. Clearly hoppy, but in a subtle and inviting way. A touch floral, very pleasant. Even better than the ordinary blond, except for the aroma, which is less complex. yalnikim (800) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 5, 2008
Tasted 04/03/2008. 330ml bottle fro Rumble’s, Wellington. Pours a hazy amber blonde, with an off white head that laces and throws off some spicy alcohol, green banana and barley sugar. In the mouth it is sweet and spicy, with the esters dominating and cleaning out the finish. Pepper and liquorice finish it out. Fairly highly carbonated. Peppery phenolics hang about. Simple and nice. mzaar (3490) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JUL 3, 2011
My friend, who bought the bottle, gave it to me "ouch, this was strong". Thank you, Stefan, for that, because this is just a great beer. Lots of tastes and a rather typical Belgian ale. 77ships (9947) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 22, 2012
33 cl. bottle sample @ 18th Christmasbeer festival in Essen. Golden blond with a white head. Smell is fruity Belgian yeast, candy sugar & citrus. Taste is mellow fruity Belgian yeast, white sugar & white bread, citrus, sweet malts & grassy hops in the back. Dry m/m body. Not too shabby.
