The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

33cl bottle, courtesy of my housemate. Appearance: pale straw with medium, white head. Aroma: overripe banana, peach, sweet malts, some spice. Taste: fairly high sweetness and medium bitterness. Notes of sweet malts, caramel, some spice and overripe banana. Palate: medium bodied, sticky texture and medium carbonation. Too sweet for an abbey tripel

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2017 On bottle @La Rose Blanche. Pours almost clear yellow, with small White foam. The scent is fruity/citra-ish. Not as good as other triples I've tried. Notes of sweet fruits like mango, but the aftertaste is alcoholic.

Clear dark golden with white head. Fruity musty aroma, bubble gum, banana green apples and spicy yeast. Crisp, if still a touch too carbonated.

nathanvc (712) - Brugge, BELGIUM - SEP 21, 2017
Pours clear 'Tripel-like' golden with a frothy, diminishing, off-white head. The aroma contains banana (immediately in the smell after pouring), hops, spices, some citrus, yeast, apple, some iron (alas) and alcohol (jenever, perhaps). It tastes medium fruity sweet and medium bitter with a spicy, dry, alcoholic finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. A bit wry due to the iron and alcohol in the finish; there is not enough hop bitterness to make up for the initial sweetness.

330ml bottle. Pours clear golden with medium white head. Aroma of malts, apricot, spices, faint yeast. Medium body with average carbonation. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter. Pretty good.
