33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white, creamy and slowly collapsing head. Subdued spiced, light caramel malt note and mild yeasty in a fine mix meets the nose as the first impression. Flavour starts sweet and delicate fruity, slowly going into a more spiced and dry flavour yet still with a nice level of caramel. Dry and spiced finish, yet smooth and nice in texture and into the finish flavour.

Ungstrup (37317) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2004
A hazy orange beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet spicy with coriander being most pronounced. The flavor is dry spicy - again with coriander being most dominant. The alcohol runs slightly but noticable over the tongue.

Bottle. Hazy golden coloured with a huge off white head. Aroma of fruits, spices, yeast and pine needles. Flavour of fruits, spices, grass, yeast and pine needles.

Bottled. Golden colour, slightly hazyish, huge off-white foamy head. Fruity aroma with corriander, caramel and spices. Flavour is citrusfruit, spices (corriander, cloves) and some hops. The yeast makes a big peak in the finish. Wellbalanced and smooth palated brew. Hides the alcohol quite well, though it gives a bit sweet hint in the flavour as well as a nice warming feeling afterwards. Overall, a nice surprise!

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden with a huge creamy head. Quite some sweet malt in a delicious balance with the not too dominating hops. Spiced and very fresh but perhaps not the most outstanding of tripels. 200893

omhper (24977) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2004
Bottled. Blond colour, reasonable head. Orangey, yeasty lively nose. Very sweet, medium bodied. All the orangey sweetness leads to a sticky mouthfeel, which takes the edge off an otherwise intriguing beer.

Travlr (24315) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Bottle. Clear yellow coor, medium white head. Aroma of dirt and citrus. Taste is lemon peel, white pepper, straw. Not complex.

Hazy dark-blond color; big creamy head. Nice spicy aroma and flavor, some malt, dryish. Not complex but good.

Orange-amber color, nice perlage, thick creamy head (wonderful!). Strong but balanced: delicate malt and old hops aroma; spicy malt with some hop aggressivity in the mouth. A classic and very good Tripel.
