Hazy orange with a big off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, yeasty and spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Dry finish with warming alcohol. 200108

Ansonsten: Daumen hoch! Hazy dark-blond color; big creamy head. Nice spicy aroma and flavor, some malt, dryish. Not complex but good.

Orange-amber color, nice perlage, thick creamy head (wonderful!). Strong but balanced: delicate malt and old hops aroma; spicy malt with some hop aggressivity in the mouth. A classic and very good Tripel.

33cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers. Gold thin white head. Belgian abbey tripel aroma, that belgian yeast, stone fruit and citrus aroma. Maybe more complex than most and certainly a very good aroma. It is an above average tripel. smooth, competent, well put together, certainly nothing off balance. Quite pleasing, fruit really is very nice, finish is a little metallic and really lets the rest of the beer down. Decent without hitting the heights.

Vibrant orangey-amber colour. Slight haze. Soft, thick head - luscious to behold. Aroma of yeast, pepper, pear, tangerine, slight grass and banana candy. Palate starts out with abundant yeastiness in the form of sweat and dust. Dry pepper alcohol notes come next, leading to a slightly sweeter middle with tangerines and apple skins. Finishes with a herbal hoppiness and a slight shot of alcohol & a kiss of sweet malt for balance. A good mix of assertiveness and balance. Nothing spectacular save for the fact that all the little things are done quite well.

Hazy golden. Aroma brings yeast, citrus and some sweeter fruits. Strong flavor without bringing too much alcohol. Malty with som vanilla, fruity and a little yeasty.

Bottled (BB 05/2005)
Hazy golden, good white head, lace. Aroma of apples and lemon. Good strong body. Starts with tickling carbonation, then opens tasty citric flavors and finishes with alcoholic touch. Some citric acid in the aftertaste. Balanced, good triple, straightforward.

330ml bottle (Vastarannan Kiiski, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks)
Clear orange, no head. Sweet sharp fruity aroma. Fruity and gluey taste, some alcohol too. Actually, there’s glue in the aroma too. Pleasant raw hops stay for a very long finish. The malt component is rather thin - simple soft light grains. Simple but pretty tasty. Their blond’s more interesting by far.
