COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not your typical "Jelly of the Month Club" beer. Dark roasted malt and bittersweet cocoa and coffee flavor and aroma burst from this pitch black milk stout. The full body and sweetness are derived from the addition of lactose (aka milk sugar) which is not fermentable by beer yeast. A healthy dose of English Kent Goldings hops provides a counterpoint to this ale’s rich and complex maltiness.

Draft. Deep brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt and coffee. Flavor follows with some light residual sweetness and a light mineral quality in the finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Solid except for the slight mineral taste.

Tap at St. Augustine's. Nose is chocolate with a bit of roastiness. Sweet cocoa flavor, some coffee, roasted wood. Tasty, a bit thin on the palate.

Dark brown. Thin head. The aroma is roasty and a bit nutty. On the palate, it's pretty light, quite sweet, and has just a light bit of toastiness. It ends up being ok.

Coffee and chocolate that mimics many other sweet stouts. Decent body and plenty of chocolate in the finish.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2017 Donkerbruin bier, schuimende mokkakleurige schuimkraag die snel inzakt. Koffie, chocolade, rozijntjes. Mild bittere afdronk. Redelijk veel koolzuur. Niet slecht maar kan mij niet volledig overtuigen.

Alluring malt aroma in a deep black pour. Way tasty brew touches all the bases and/or ticks all the boxes one would expect. An excellent new/old world take on the style (whatever that may be)?

This 16 oz can was sent to me by Strykzone. Thanks Dave. Pours black with a tan head. Nose of milk chocolate roasted malts. Full body. Creamy mouthfeel.  Favor is sweet chocolate malts with coffee. Finishes with a nice bitterness. Really smooth and easy drinking. An excellent stout.

Fantastic wild stout with a lot of flavor. Not sweet and weak loge some milk stouts but more bold in flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pinta en El Lupulo Feroz (Oviedo) Aromas a malta y café, buen sabor con toques ligeros a café, suave pero bien.
