COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is not candy or mothers milk. It is not brewed by gypsies or aliens, nor does it contain any zombie dirt. This is an American Style IPA brewed with Citra Hops. It is citrusy, sticky, hoppy and delicious. Simply drink it and enjoy it. Dont hoard this beer, Citra Ass Down and drink it now.

(Online description:) This is a very hop forward American style IPA. Brewed with Pale, Vienna, Munich and wheat malt for a solid base for all American hops, focusing mainly on the variety Citra. Citra hops are a relatively new variety introduced in 2008. It was bred as a hybrid of a number of different hops, including Hallertauer Mittelfrh, U.S. Tettnanger, East Kent Golding, Bavarian, Brewers Gold, and other unknown hops. The resulting hop, Citra, has a distinct citrusy and tropical fruit flavor and aroma. In Citra ass down we used American Columbus for bittering and 11# of Citra at the end of the boil for late kettle addition flavor and aroma. Then we added 6 more pounds Citra and 5# Centennial post fermention for aroma. Rebrewed for your tasting pleasure!

September 26, 2015 - at Craft (Islington) - keg draught. Brassy clear amber-gold with a bubbly average diminishing off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, tropical fruit, a little perfume/floral character, light cereal. Taste follows, with some resin/zest admixed. Solid body and carbonation, medium-long bitter finish, doesnt coat the palate, and the alcohol seems to build a bit as you work through it.

16oz can poured at home - no canning date that I can see. Nice tropical aroma - and nice crisp bitter finish. The 8.2% is hidden very well Really enjoyed this beer.

Hazy orange, thin white head. Aroma citrus with a tad of malt. Medium full body. Flavor is citrus up front with moderate bitterness, then moves to a more dry hop flavor with some malt and off dry finish. Pretty good.

Weirdo IPA for a diehard hop patriot, since all those Brit and Noble hops give this pint an unmistakable pungent Euro twist. Herbal and floral yet surprisingly grainy, with a heavy dose of biscuit and toast offsetting a mild caramel sweetness. Citrus undertones throughout, and a orange-grapefruit finish leads to a bitter, floral, European fade. Thick feel accentuates the Imperial leanings. Needs a better nose, but otherwise makes for a solid DIPA.

[Can (16oz)] Pours a slightly hazy copper-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Lots of lacing. Really nice Citra hop aroma along with a touch of herbs and bready malt in the back. Pleasant Citra hop flavour with an average bitter finish. Alcohol is hidden. Medium bodied. Really good stuff, I loved it.

Can 1 pint. Pours amber with tiny floating impurities and a small, white head. Very interesting and delicious hop aroma - perfumy and spicy. Rich malty body, caramellish, very fruity, some late bitterness. Perhaps a little old school and not super fresh, but still very enjoyable. 020317
