We like those guys at Three Lloyds. They don’t give a fuck. This beer is a work of fiction. Any similarities to any other beer, living or dead, are purely coincidental. We thought we already had a pretty good lineup of dark, syrupy giants, so we decided to make a light, syrupy giant. This imperial adjunct wine is a backbreaking double mash beer loaded with a totally unreasonable amount of oats and a knuckle sandwich of corn. The smoke note is extremely subtle behind the huge grain bill, and the massive additions of German Magnum hops are designed to obliterate your big dumb face. A long aging was allowed on a blend of American and French oak to add distinct spice, vanilla, and oak flavors. Forget your previous Satanic allegiances. Bow down before your Dork Lard!

TheJestersBeer (2431) - SWEDEN - MAY 30, 2014
Tap @ Port Street Alehouse, Mancs. Pours a slightly hazy deep amber, with a thin white head. Malty, spicy aroma, caramel, apricot, nuts, orange. Semi-sweet, full bodied, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty, sugary taste, caramel, dried fruits, apricot, walnut, marzipan, oxidized apples. A tiny bit rough, the alcohol burns through a bit.(2014-03-12)

Least favorite against the grain i have had so far. Still tasty and quite interesting!

BRW (3073) - Barcelona, SPAIN - MAR 22, 2014
On tap at Biercab. Orange colour with white head. Grain, caramel aroma. Grain, malt and caramel taste, alcohol warmth, some fruit. Medium to full body.

Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2014
Keg at PSBH, Manchester. Hazy orange with a thin blonde cap. Sugary sweet caramel, vanilla, oaky. Tangy, resinous and sticky all through. Long warmth to the end. Better than I’d expect for something so adjunct heavy, but not something I’d seek out again in a hurry.

Tap @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dominated by it’s demanding alcohol level and some sweetness. Brown sugar and butterscotch caramel with some slight syrup-bread on the backend.

From tap in Delirium Hoppy Loft, then in a small growler and poured in a glass after a 40 minute drive. THX Mathieu87. APPEARANCE: clear darker blond beer, no foam. NOSE: caramel, sweet, alcohol, wood. TASTE: caramel, alcohol, wood. Decent!

Draft @ Hoppy Loft. Yeah, Ia m glad the beer is a work of fiction.

Tap at BeerTemple. Amber, steady offwhite head. Fruity and biscuity nose. Sweet, oranges, hints of marcipane, yet bitter ending. Quite original.

nimbleprop (8761) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 9, 2013
32oz growler I filled at Superstar Beverage on Long Island. Pours a copper amber with some thin off white head. Nose is not at all appetizing, some smoke, some corn, raisin, fake cheeze, artificial sweetness, booze. Flavor is harsh, unfermented sugar, almost like an iced tea which had 25 Splenda packets poured in, booze, cheap rum blended with cheaper whiskey. Harsh finish. I would not go back to this again.
