In short: spicy roasty ale.
Pours hazy cooper with frothy off white head. Moderate head retention, poor lacing. Nose is roasty, spicy, sweet, some chickory. Taste is some dry, harsh, sweet, little sour.
Sample at Brass Tap Polaris. The beer is a hazy dark amber color with a medium thick foamy off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of pumpkin spice, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of sweet pumpkin pie, caramel malt and fruit. The finish is sweet with a malt and spice aftertaste. Decent overall. angel77 (4048) - oviedo, SPAIN - APR 8, 2016

Aromas y sabores mal todos tostados ligeramente caramelizadas (al final en caliente) con predomi io de calabazas y bastantes toques de especias y pudientes con cierto picante final. Draft. A boring pumpkin ale, some spices, pretty sweet for the abv, not amusing.

Pours opaque chocolate brown with a bubbly light tan head. Cinnamon and pumpkin are the main players in the aroma, but gladly share the olfactory stage with malty and slight woody hop tones. Flavor explodes with spicy pumpkin, like a liquid pumpkin pie, while malty and subtle fruity tones follow in the wake. Wake? Whatever. I’m good at mixing metaphors. Mouthfeel is firm and smooth, yet quite fizzy. Flesh out your gourdin’! Tmoney99 (15116) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Draft. Poured hazy dark pumpkin color with a large off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with very good lacing. Medium to heavy pumpkin pie and spice aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy pumpkin spice sweet flavor with a medium to heavy spice sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid seasonal beer. Pint on tap at Dutch’s. Clear dark red brown color. Good finger of khaki head. Leaves good lace. Medium to bigger body. Good pumpkin character. Nice toastiness, touch of vanilla. Moderate spiciness. Touch of chocolate. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of soft/crisp, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet, mild spicy. Very solid, tasty pumpkin beer. A bit spicy on the first small sip, but really nice and easy-drinking once I get into it, with a lot of complexity that comes out later. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 14, 2015

Euston Tap. Keg. Hazy deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and a little soft with decent fine carbonation. Smooth sweetish dark malts, some creamy sweetness. Mellow cinnamon and cloves. Mild fruity pumpkin. Light semi dry finish. A mellow Pumpkin beer, and the better for it.
