COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second installment in our Greats of Wrestling series, HackSaaz Jim Chuggin’ is a tribute to the great American Hacksaw Jim Duggan. As the name implies, this beers Saaz hop profile will smack you in the face like a 2”x4” or Patriot missle. This straw colored pilsner’s malt profile is built from a mix American pils malt, cara-pils, and Bonlander Munich malts. While the malt base is solid, its hops that shine. Traditional Czech Saaz hops create a mild, herbal, and spicy flavor and aroma that compliments this kick in the nuts of a beer.

On tap in a sampler. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of pale malts and floral and spicy hops. Flavor the same. Lighter texture. Not bad for the style.

glass from a growler
lightly hazed pale gold body with a white head. basically this is a Pilsner Urquell clone, and done very well. very soft carbonation and body. milder hop sizzle than Urquell, and seems lighter, more German (for malt body, that is). it sparkles. well-done. except for the name. the name is stupid.

Draft. Creamy barley malt and hay aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Sweet barley malt and moderately bitter grass hops flavor. Very nice - great malt profile of a top of the line Classic German Pilsener.

ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 14, 2012
Obvious noble hop aroma with some cracker, hay and white grape. Appearance is light gold with thin white head. Flavor is all hops up front; the malts, mostly hay, are the second act and the finish is slightly bitter but lingering. Palate is very bubbly and soft. Pretty good pils.
