Color marron espuma beige, aromas tostados madera y caramelo, sabor cafe notas tostadas ligeros toques a cacao cuerpo medio.
Clugs out of the bottle and into a snifter a thick extremely dark brown liquid. A semi-aggressive pour results in a finger-width, fairly well-retaining, red-brown-tan head. BBQ, dark roasted malt, brown sugar, and sorghum on the nose. Viscous mouthfeel. Sweet, but tempered by the savoriness of the BBQ’d meat quality. Good balance in the palate results. Quality imperial brown. davidezdonz (667) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - OCT 3, 2017
A 750ml bottle with no bottled on or best before date that I could see. Poured into a snifter. It was a clear dark brown colour with a half finger beige head that dissipated fairly quickly but settled to a ring around the glass. There is only sparse to no lacing. Aromas of coffee beans, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and oak with only a hint of bourbon. Tastes sweet and roasty. Caramel, molasses, vanilla, oak and bourbon with hints of milk chocolate. Medium bodied with moderate prickly carbonation. Overall, perhaps a little bit too sweet for me, but the nice bourbon and oak flavours do make up for that minor flaw. angel77 (4235) - oviedo, SPAIN - AUG 26, 2017
