COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Beer comes from a distinguished family of American Pale Ales, and Knot Beer is a knot-so-distant cousin. This beer may be of the same stock, but its family has a little bit of rough-and-ready rowdiness in the form of Kentucky-grown hemp seeds. A Pale Ale that’s spent some time at sea, (not to mention a brothel or two), and come back home to tell the tale. When you want an A Beer with a story, Knot Beer is here to tie one on

Tap at the Roundhouse. Little bit spicy, malty, caramel, nice and easy drinking if a little unexciting.

An eyecatching name makes this one worth at least trying. I don’t think the results work out as well as some combinations. Even so I hope it makes a return. While not standout the results do offer a unique twist on a mundane style.

Aroma / Appearance - A bronze body rests underneath a soft white head. Wood and malts permeate the air with a texture that sticks around like a hazy fog.

Flavor / Palate - Hemp, wheat, and a dry malty body stick to the tongue. The full bodied fluid mouthfeel opens up. The novelty might not provide much staying power but credit is due for not making just another dull American pale ale.
