COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style Double India Pale Ale. If it’s hops and alcohol you want, here you go. Pale, Vienna, Aromatic malt and Oats give this ale a solid malt backbone to hold up the huge hop flavor and aroma. We used large charges of Zythos, Columbus, Cascade and Citra in the kettle and dryhopped with some Centennial and Falconer’s Flight hops. Giving citrus, piney and tropical fruit character.

lusikka (7813) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 4, 2013
Draught @ Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels. Rated on 27.2.2013.
Pours a hazy orange colour with a thick and creamy white head. Aroma of strong floral hops, grass and exotic fruits such as pineapple and kiwi. Flavour of strong floral hops, resin, pineapple, kiwi, biscuit and tangy citrusy notes. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a heavy bitter and fruity finish. No sign of contamination here. Great stuff.

Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Draft pour at Delirium Hoppy Loft. It has a murky copper body with gold hues and supporting a light tan colored head of foam. The aroma offers up candied mango, citrusy lime and grapefruit. Pretty nice but smells on the sweet side. The taste delivers sweet mango tropical fruitiness to citrus grapefruit that starts with malt sweetened hop flavor and then quickly jumps into resiny hop bitterness. The bitterness only seems to grow into the finish and helps to create a bit of a drying sensation. Nice stuff.

Alusmamuts (1984) - LATVIA - FEB 26, 2013
Dark amber with white rich cap. Typical IPA taste with goot afterbitternes at the root of tongue and re-appearing sweetness on its firts half

3.3
sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - FEB 25, 2013
Draft @ Delirium Hoppyloft. Dorée orangée, col blanc. Arôme fruité et fleuri avec un bouquet que je n’ai pas spécialement trouvé en harmonie tirant vers des feuilles de thé bouillies en dominance. Note de grains et malt caramel.

77ships (9828) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - FEB 24, 2013
Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft: Hazy bright orange with a white head. Does have the regular DIPA components in the nose but far sweeter, more juice-like than usually & same goes for the taste. Orange peel & fruit pulp in the nose, strong sweet spices, touch pine,… Taste is sweet grapefruit juice, sugar, sweet marmalade, lightly bitter spices in the back, sweet sticky pine, quite strongly fruity with sticky caramel,… Fizzy. Don’t think that this was infected as suggested, just unusual, going by the ratings, this may have been indeed a question of age. Still this was quite enjoyable.
