Come one come all! A tribute to the language barrier from international collaboration & inspired by our affinity for a Danish runner’s scarf & shorts. This Bloody Show is a crisp, tart pilsner drenched with the juice & zest of blood oranges. The result is a refreshingly tart lager with big citrus aroma worthy of even the hippest of Danish drinkers.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2017 It's a really nice Lager. It's crisp and tart with the blood orange, the aroma is wonderful. It's just a beer I could happily kick back with after a nice sunny day.

colui72 (1100) - HONG KONG - OCT 26, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2017 Pours deep golden to orange, hazy, medium soapy head, some lacing. Aroma is strong at first, but it fades quickly, citrus hops and lager malts. Taste not as fruity as expected, but well balanced with a typical lager malty side and tasty hops. Orange is there but it could have been slightly stronger. Light and crisp, easy to drink, tasty light bitter lager.

Dark orange almost amber in color. Unique, but the sweet n tart fruit is so strong as to drown out any pilsner crispness this beer may have had. Decent fruit beer.

La cerveza en si, fuera de que el sabor no es nada del otro mundo, esta muy licuada

16 oz can from Mount Royal in MN. Aroma is orange, orange peel, grain, chalky candy, a bit herbal. Pours clear deep golden with a decent bone-white head with good retention. Taste is lightly sweet, a hint of tartness from the fruit, and fairly bitter for a lager. The oranges aren’t in your face and are pretty subtle. Reminds me of certain blood orange pale ales and IPAs, but a bit different by using a hoppy pilsner base instead. Interesting and tasty.

can. Golden orange with one finger head. Blood orange present, but lacking tartness. Bitter hops don’t seem to fit. This one is a swing and a miss for me.

Can from unknown place. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Not getting a lot on the nose. Lots of pine on the tongue. I can’t say I’m getting much orange. Fairly bitter finish. Not feeling this one.

A bit harsh pils with bitter orange notes, more noticeable in palate than nose. Crisp, relatively clean dark gold with frothy white head. Some acetone notes in nose.

Ever so slightly hazy light amber and copper coloured body with a decent, three to four centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grass, light floral notes, some small hops and a touch of sugars. Light to Medium-bodied; Bitter funky flavour with medicinal and metallic flavours at first, some mellow sugars and fruit notes and a biscuity malt bite that shows the lager yeast and a touch of additional fruits. Aftertaste shows the medicinal and funky fruit flavours with very little else and no complexity at all. Overall, a decent beer at best with some bitter orange flavours at the end and some medicinal and funky lager notes throughout. Definitely not worth trying or spending a premium on this one - it’s rated highly just from the label and name on the front of the can - this is not very good, period. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint can purchased from Beer Run in Charlottesville, Virginia on 26-February-2017 for US$3,75 sampled at home in Washington on 09-May-2017.
