Craft. Opaque black - brown beer, pale tan head. Palate is smooth and light. Minerals and fine carbonation. Super mild lactose in the mellow dark malt. Mild pine hops. The carbonation starts to bite. Trace of red berry fruits and a whisper of coffee. Finishes crisp. Nice Black IPA - good cream and cream vibe.

Draught @ The Bishops Arms, Ny Ostergade 14, Copenhagen, Denmark 1101.
Clear light dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark chocolate malt, bitter chocolate malt, hop bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
This pours a very dark brown colour with a huge beige head. Long lasting foam. Aroma is sweet malts and caramel. Light hoppy notes. Taste is well balanced with light roastiness, some piney hops and malts. Body is quite full with a silky sensation. Overall, this lacks character, both from the hops and the roasted malts side. Really nothing special. sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2012
