COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The brown ale to end all brown ales. Enjoy it, because there is no longer any reason to drink another. Youve reached the pinnacle. A healthy blend of traditional British malts give this popular style a semi-sweet, biscuity, slightly roasted flavor. Oats thicken the mouthfeel, and a handful of specialty malts add complex chocolate, toffee, and caramel notes. The hops are mostly traditional, earthy British hops, but we cocked it up a bit with some Cascade late in the boil just to show those snooty Brits that we dont approve of that Constitutional Monarchy crap.

Some roast and a little raw barley. Pours brown with decent head and lacing. Light caramel. Bittersweet finish. Can is more against the grain than Gluten Free activists.

475ml can at Agenturet l og Vinbar. Deep dark brown body with a reddish shade. Clingy lacing from a remaining, low off-white head. Inviting aroma of brown malts, slightly roasted. Well blended taste profile of caramel, nuts, chocolate and bread. Rounded, mid-sweet malty ending. Medium bodied. Cleverly made version of the style and a fine partner to my beef stew at the bar (TIFF, Troms 18.01.2017).

16 oz. can. A big fluffy beige head over this clear brown beer. Soggy, coffee, earthy aroma is not all that appetizing. Coffee is tasted first along with earth. Caramel is light and hops are barely noted.

First off, this is by far the most disturbing bottle art I have ever seen. I could not drink this beer with the bottle in sight. That said, the beer is very good. It has a clear amber-brown pour with an off-white head. The aroma is nutty and also has chocolate notes. It has a medium body with somewhat crisp texture and lively carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a roasted, dry finish.

CAN. Dark brown pour with thin cream head.. A combo of malt, coffee & biscuit aroma.. Thin biscuit malt upfront, goes to a mix of coffee chocolate & a touch of vanilla, artwork on can is also on point.. sourced against the grain

From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. Reading JHTP11 Ch16. Roasty, a bit nutty and a bit sour. Doesnt unplease but nothing to chase apart from the funny can picture.

Dark brown, small white head, best can ever. Strong aroma of roasted malts and caramel. Caramel strong in its taste too, very malty, roasty, tasty, rich, nutty. Medium fizzy carbonation and medium body. Quite a good ale!

Clear brown body with a small beige head. The nose is super nutty with lots of husky grain, smells pretty good really. The flavor is fairly solid, but maybe a little overly husky and grainy. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent stuff.
